Tell Us Your Favourite Car Boot Sales!
We’re super excited that Easter weekend is almost upon us and that it will mark the return of local boot fairs to our calendar. We’ve spent many happy hours pottering around in the sunshine picking up some vintage gems for our Cotswold Company home and we’re on a quest to find the nations best boot fairs. We’ve listed 5 of our personal faves and would love you to share yours with us, and the Cotswold Co community too!
This is one of London’s most renowned boot fairs and has been successfully growing since 1996. Not far from Portobello and a short walk to St Mary’s car boot, you can spend a whole day basking in bargains. Pop down every Saturday or Bank holiday Monday and get there early for the best buys.
Not for the fainthearted, get some comfy shoes on and be prepared to make a day of it; this boot fair is enormous! If you’re down South, this is well worth a visit on a sunny Sunday.
If you’re heading to the Cotswolds and you want to pick up a bit of memorabilia from the local area you might just find the perfect keep-sake at the Cheltenham boot fair. With up to 300 sellers every Sunday from the 27th March, it provides an additional excuse to head to this beautiful part of the world.
If you’re thinking of heading anywhere near to Manchester or the Peak District, see if you can tag on a mooch around Chelford car boot.
With the additional draw of neighbouring areas such as Knutsford, Alderley Edge, Prestbury and a great little food market at Altrincham, it’s well worth venturing to this neck of the woods.
Noted as The Late One because of it’s forgiving 11am start, this boot fair is full of goodies from the surrounding area and a great place for haggling. Kick started every Saturday at ’11am sharp’ with the sound of a klaxon! If you have time to spare, head for afternoon tea in the quaint village of Aylsham or head to Blickling Hall for a true National Trust treasure.
Take a moment and tell us if there’s one near you that we need to know about!
